Unfortunately I can't show you some photos of those great paintings conserved in the gallery (Velasquez, Caravaggio and others more) as it is prohibited to take pictures inside the museum.
At least they didn't forbid me to take a picture of the stairs.
As for the "off beat"-comment: Yes, always those 17th century architects, without any respect to what is written in the eternal law of architecture! Unbelievable!

Remember that all this is is done with a simple point-and-shoot camera, and there is no "Save brightness"-button.
I know you didn't make the stairs, but they are against building code regs. More then three steps requires that their be hand rails. of some kind.
